Tutorial: How to Create Product Photos on Desktop

You can access Fotokatalog from any device, whether it’s a smartphone, laptop, or computer. In this tutorial, we’ll guide you on how to create product photos on Fotokatalog using your desktop or laptop. The process is super simple!

1. Create an Account

If you don’t already have an account, sign up via this link: https://dash.fotokatalog.app/signup.

Fill in your name, email, and password. After clicking the sign-up button, you’ll need to confirm your email address.

You’ll see a notification like this:

Check your email inbox and click the confirmation button in the email from Fotokatalog.

2. Log In

If you already have an account, log in via this link: https://dash.fotokatalog.app/login. Enter your email and password, then click the log-in button.

3. Upload a Photo

Congratulations! You’ve successfully accessed the homepage. Now, you can start by uploading the product photo you’d like to enhance.

3.1. Navigate to the Upload Page

3.2. Name Your Product

You’ll need to name your product before uploading the photo.

Don’t forget to click the checkmark button next to the name field.

3.3. Select a Photo

Click the upload photo button, then select the photo you want to edit. Make sure the photo is in .jpeg, .jpg, .png, .heic, or .webp format to ensure it can be processed. For optimal results, check out these product photography tips: Product Photography Tips.

Click the “Save Photo” button to confirm your selection.

3.4. Describe the Background

This is the most important step! Use your imagination to describe a background that suits your product.

Example background description:

On a grassy forest floor surrounded by budding flowers, sunlight, bokeh, light mist, and magical vibes.

If you’re unsure about how to describe your background, use the available templates. Click on a template and modify the description as needed.

Click the “Create Variations” button to generate four photo variations.

Creating photo variations takes 1-2 minutes, so please be patient 😄.

3.5. Download the Photo

You can download the resulting variations by clicking the download button.
